Bob Vila works with crew to waterproof the deck of the exercise room, which is also the kitchen roof. He learns how to wire an electrical outlet in existing and new walls.

Bob Vila reveals that the sashes from the windows of the old house will have to be replaced. He visits a showroom/store where tile is displayed.

Bob Vila talks with Norm about the kitchen flooring. Bob visits a salvage yard that offers the yellow pine timber cut for flooring planks. Bob joins Norm again to talk about paint stripping alternatives to sandblasting.

Bob Vila works with Norm Abram to install a skylight and review the roofing, gutter and molding decisions. Rich Trethewey discusses plans for heating in each room.
