Our Take on All American Gutter Protection
The design and materials of All American’s gutter guard system set it apart from other gutter installers. It uses stainless steel for its micro-mesh design and aluminum for its frame.
This system withstands weathering and prevents debris as small as pine needles from entering your gutters while letting water flow through. It’s set within a lightweight and corrosion-resistant aluminum frame, making it one of the top gutter guards for pine needles.
All American installs aluminum seamless gutters in more than 30 colors. Seamless gutters are superior to standard sectional systems because they don’t use connectors (also called joiners), making them less prone to leaks and giving them a longer shelf life.
We Recommend All American Gutter Protection If You:
- Want the effective debris filtration provided by stainless steel micro-mesh screens
- Want multiple color choices to customize your gutters
- Are looking to save money with generous discounts
We Don’t Recommend All American Gutter Protection If You:
- Want the reassurance of consistently excellent installation workmanship
- Want or need extra services, such as gutter cleaning
- Are concerned about unfavorable customer ratings
All American Gutter Protection Overview
All American offers an effective product made from high-quality materials. All American guards feature a stainless steel micro-mesh screen and aluminum body, materials that can withstand harsh weather and last up to 20 years in most conditions.
We tested more than a dozen of the highest-rated DIY gutter guards on the market and found that micro-mesh filters performed the best out of any guard type. Micro-mesh keeps gutters clog-free while allowing water to filter through the guard, even in heavy rain. Its micro-mesh design is a major point in All American Gutter Protection’s favor.
Based on its locations page, All American Gutter Protection is available in the following states: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Southern Wyoming.
Cost
We surveyed 200 All American Gutter Protection customers. Our research shows that All American gutter guards cost an average of $5,868 for 200 linear feet, or $29.34 per linear foot. Based on our survey, the typical cost range for an All American Gutter Protection installation is between $3,900 and $5,900.
The national average cost for a professional gutter guard installation is between $1,800 and $3,500, but high-quality micro-mesh installations can cost up to $8,000. Factors such as your home’s size, total linear feet of guttering, roof pitch, and local labor rates all affect the cost of your gutter guard installation.
All American offers generous discounts, which often change with the seasons. For example, as of December 2024, the company offered 30% off if you used a coupon found on its website. Past discounts have included 20% for whole-home installation.
We read its discount page and noted the following discounts are currently available:
- Senior discount: 10% off for anyone over the age of 60
- Military discount: 10% off for active duty, reserve, or retired service members
Financing
While All American Gutter Protection doesn’t advertise in-house financing for customers, it encourages those who seek financing to do so through the Wells Fargo Home Projects credit card.
Warranty
We read All American’s warranty page and noted its lifetime performance guarantee. This guarantees that “our gutter protection products will work as described in your contract for the life of your home.” The warranty page also notes, “If our gutters and gutter guards fail to meet your expectations for any reason, give us a call and we’ll do all we can to make it right.”
Fine Print
The warranty’s conditions are somewhat vague, so we called All American and spoke to a representative. They informed us that the warranty lasts the lifetime of the home and completely covers the guards’ performance. If the guards leak, break, or fail to prevent materials from entering the gutters, All American will send a representative to handle it. We were told that information regarding limitations and coverages was only available through an inspector and sales representative.
Materials
The well-engineered materials used by All American Gutter Protection are an important distinguishing quality. We found that stainless steel micro-mesh gutter guards performed best for debris filtration and water flow during our testing, and that’s only one aspect of the All American system.
All American’s gutter covers feature its stainless steel micro-mesh screen set within an aluminum frame. It has a supporting aluminum sub-structure and reinforcing hidden hangers. This creates a durable, corrosion-resistant shield that prevents debris buildup and clogs while allowing water passage.
Cleaning and maintaining your gutters is easier with micro-mesh gutter guards because you don’t have to dig through the trough of your gutters to clear gunk. As debris falls on your roof and gutter system, it will collect atop the guard or be pushed to the ground by water. The flat, smooth surface of the guard makes removing debris easy with a quick rinse with a hose.
Additional Services
All American Gutter Protection doesn’t offer a wide range of additional services. Most professional gutter guard installers include basic gutter maintenance options for customers. Gutter cleaning and repair are common industry standards for these companies. All American only offers gutter guard, seamless gutter, and downspout installations as well as fascia replacements.
Quote and Installation Process
To work with All American Gutter Protection, contact them through an online form on its website or by phone. A customer service representative will schedule an appointment for an on-site inspection and free quote.
On that day, a salesperson will arrive at your home and inspect your existing gutter and roof system. They’ll look for anything that can affect the price of your new gutter guard installation, such as your roof pitch and total linear feet of guttering. After they inspect your system, they’ll give you a sales pitch on All American’s products and services, present your quote, and negotiate on price. They’ll schedule an installation date if you agree to the quote.
An installation crew will arrive at your home on that date. They’ll clean, make any necessary repairs, and install your new gutter guards. If you purchased seamless gutters with your guards, they’ll also remove your old system, roll and cut your new gutters to custom-fit your home, and install them. They’ll clean up the job site, dispose of remaining debris, and answer any questions you may have before departing.
All American Gutter Protection Customer Reviews: Trustpilot, BBB, Yelp, and More
All American Gutter Protection has among the smallest pool of reviews out of every company we’ve reviewed. On Trustpilot, All American has a five-star single review. Its BBB page has 31 reviews, with an average score of 3.4 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, we don’t think there’s a large enough sample size of reviews to get an accurate glimpse into All American’s performance. However, here are sample reviews that highlight positive and negative themes we noted:
Positive Reviews
Negative Reviews
As a smaller company, it’s unsurprising that All American has fewer online reviews. To learn more about consumer sentiment, we surveyed 200 All American customers. According to our results, 71% of respondents were satisfied with the performance of their All American systems. The average percentage of satisfied customers out of every company we surveyed was 72.6%, meaning that All American falls in line with the industry average for customer satisfaction. Of our respondents, 102 noted previous issues with pine needles. Only six of those said they were unsatisfied with the performance of the guard.
How All American Gutter Protection Compares to Other Top Gutter Guard Companies
Although All American’s rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars is among the lowest of the major gutter guard companies we reviewed, its ability to effectively block pine needle buildup, its combination of stainless steel micro-mesh screens and aluminum base, and its generous deals and discounts help it earn a place among our recommended gutter guard installers.
