2017 - Rhode Island Beach House Idea House

The 2017 Idea House featured a 3,200-square-foot Beach House at East Matunuck in South Kingstown, RI. A collaboration between Sweenor Builders, Union Studio Architecture & Community Design, and numerous This Old House sponsors and contributors, the house finds design inspiration in one of New England’s most iconic architectural styles –Shingle style – and delivers a medley of features that are at the top of homeowners’ wish lists.
