Kevin O’Connor takes a walking tour with architectural historian Maggie O’Neill to learn more about the features of colonial revivals.

Back at the project house, Kevin runs into Zack Dettmore upstairs where he helps him begin framing the addition walls using an efficient system.

Meanwhile in the attic, Richard Trethewey explains that one mini duct high velocity system will suffice for the size of this house to ensure each room stays cool. Down in the basement, he meets with Lev Minsky to finish installing the tubing onto the main trunk line.

Later, Zack and his apprentice, Mike Dul, are in the kitchen discussing the effects of lateral forces on a wall with large windows and how to use special hardware to keep the wall from racking.
