S21 E9: The Billerica House
HO Sandra Silva begins planning the layout and design of the kitchen. Steve tours a test facility where they test the durability and flammability of just about everything. Norm is making cabinets for the kitchen.

A work area is being assembled for cabinet making in the backyard. James Crowe shows Steve the faux slate roofing. Richard Trethewey begins the plumbing in the basement.

Norm reviews some of the materials and tools being used on the exterior of the house. He and Tom seal a corner of the framing. Steve tours the factory where they make composite material window frames.

Dick Silva gives Steve a tour of the second floor. Steve goes to a training camp for firefighters. The roofing is started and a mason is laying brick over the foundation.

The framing of the house has started. The steel structuring in the basement is welded into place. Norm tours an I-beam factory and plans for the garage are being drawn up.

Foundation work is beginning using all the new methods and technology. Steve tours a home in Florida that showcases safety devices for the home. Dick and Sandra Silva begin the process of choosing building materials.

The burned down home has been removed and Dick Silva is preparing the ground for the foundation of the new home. Fire damaged trees in the yard are taken away and milled into lumber for the project.

Norm visits with the Deputy Chief of the Billerica Fire department to discuss the fire. Steve dicusses the insurance with the Silva’s representative and sees the claims men at work

Tom Silva shows Steve his new van and trailer then tells him that his brother Dick’s home burnt down. They go see the fire gutted home then offer to help Dick rebuild.

Norm builds a rolling grill cart made of weather-friendly redwood and cedar which features a pullout drawer, towel racks, hooks for utensils, and a large bottom shelf.
S11 E11: Press Cupboard
Norm builds a simple press cupboard to store linens and serving utensils for entertaining out of recycled pine.
S11 E7: Bake Center
Norm builds a bake center for the pastry chef.
S11 E6: Laundry Center
Norm designed and built this laundry center to work as both a sorting station and as a place to fold clothes and hold laundry supplies.

Steve and Norm take a first look at a bungalow to be renovated in Santa Barbara, CA.
S11 E3: Kitchen Secretary
Norm built this kitchen secretary of mahogany, and it features adjustable shelves to store cookbooks or a small TV and cubbyholes for organizing recipes, bills, or correspondence.
